So you love old-time music but you’re not quite ready for tear it up, bust down tempo? Have we got the thing for you! Announcing the inaugural OFC Monthly Old-Time Music Slow Jam. Learn new tunes! Make new friends! Perfect your hot licks! Bring your fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar or whatever to the Ottawa Folklore Centre on Friday, May 3rd from 7-9 pm. OFC banjo teacher Paul Hornbeck will lead the group in an evening of old-time favorites, played at a moderate pace.
