Beginner Harmonica Catriona Sturton Dec 9 2:30-4:30

Come and enjoy our Beginner Harmonica Workshop at the Ottawa Folklore Centre.

Join a group of new and beginner harmonica enthusiasts to work on basic techniques (such as how to hold the harmonica, play notes, chords, trills, bends, riffs and improvised melodies). Focusing on harmonica fundamentals helps build confidence and the ability to play songs alone and with other musicians. To participate, bring a diatonic (10-hole) harmonica in the key of C, or you can purchase one from the Folklore Centre. The workshop takes place at the centre on Sunday, Dec 9, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. It costs $20 for members and $25 for non members. WKSHP12-22

A great instrument with a huge sound. The Cedar Top and Rosewood Back & Sides give this ukulele a full, warm sound that will only get better with age. Fully intonated and setup, this instrument is a dream to play. Professionals to even utter-ukulele-amateurs would have an easy time getting around on this very playable fingerboard. Be careful about picking this instrument up, you won’t want to put it down.
